There is an awakening happening all across the globe. Certain folks, and you know who you are, have been swimming in deep murky waters of systems of oppression and are starting to find their way to the surface, come up for air and take in the view. They are coming into a knowledge of their gifts, and their power and will not be held back.
Not just women of all colors shapes and sizes, but I include genderfluid persons among them. Those who have stepped into their courage, owned their truth by defying the boundaries of the gender binary are waking up to the ways societal, patriarchal, political, and religious constructs have constrained and kept all in nice, tidy, compact little boxes. They are crushing those boxes that have traditionally made them mask who they are and play invisible in the world.
It’s time to stop playing invisible in the world. It’s time to stop playing small and own, step into and shine in your Divinity, which is your birthright.
Whether you are a queer individual or the parent or loved one of a queer individual, there is community, belonging, support, healing, learning and growth available to you.
I choose to use my privilege as a white, hetero, cisgender female to advocate for those in marginalized places. If I do not, I feel deeply I’m not honoring my privilege by using it for the forces of good, advancement of humanity, giving back and contributing to the collective past, present and future. This is me; you do you!
You do not have to use your voice in the same way I do. That is for you to drop in, listen and feel that knowing of your Purpose and how to use your voice. The most impactful place to use your voice begins in the home—first with yourself then with loved ones, spouses, children, extended and chosen family.
