“The amount of energy coursing through my body made my knees shake. [Success Codes Live] wasn’t Keira doing it (activating) for me, it was me activating myself. She created the prefect space for me to do it myself.”
Kangie Dawber, Success Codes Live, January 2025 participant
Unique, from my name (Kangie) to my offerings, it’s hard to find anything ordinary and why would you want to? I’m a woman who has questioned the norm for as long as I can remember and have cultivated a curiosity that is always encouraging my expansion. An adventurer, I’ve lived in many countries and travelled to even more. I love to immerse myself amongst the locals, in the history, helping me remember and reactivate specific codes within myself. I am incredibly fascinated by sacred geometries, gridwork and all frequencies. I’m a freebirth fanatic, a wildschooling mama, a master herbalist and detox diva, doula and a certified energy healer and board certified holistic health practitioner, soon to be microschool founder… can you believe the list may go on?!

I’m Meagan Skidmore. For two and a half years, I have been talking about evolving faith journeys. I started to tire of the heaviness of this focus, and then I had a clear message come through—it’s time for Beyond the Shadow of Doubt podcast to evolve into Living Beyond the Shadow of Doubt podcast. With the same vulnerability and unapologetic authenticity, I will now focus on the joy in this journey—the life and the living that comes on the other side of “maybe,” on the other side of what’s possible.
I want to talk about claiming spiritual sovereignty and becoming the captain of your own vessel. Let’s celebrate releasing what no longer aligns with you, connecting with your higher power, and expanding your energy field to make room for all things new. The vibration is high this month on Living Beyond the Shadow of Doubt podcast—pretenses dropped and caution thrown to the wind in each interview. I’m dropping a new episode daily, spotlighting one of the amazing, soul-led, heart-centered authors of Joan of Arc Publishing, founded by Keira Brinton. Like the namesake of this publishing house, each one embodies the fearless, God-centered spirit left by the legacy of Joan of Arc. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a single one.
Hey, Kangie—welcome to the podcast. I’m so happy you made time to meet with me today.
“Yeah, thank you so much for having me on here. I’m thrilled.”
Admittedly, we only met just last month, but I already feel like we’ve connected. I’m excited to share your wisdom, aura, and spirit with our listeners. Let’s start with your background—spiritual, educational, your family, all the things.
“All of the things,” you say. You grew up in Utah as the surprise baby to teenage parents—your mom was 18, your dad 19. Growing up in Utah, with its conservative culture and religious influences, came with its challenges. Your parents faced scrutiny for being young parents. You’re the oldest of five, and when your parents divorced when you were 12, your dad got custody. Your mom struggled with drug addiction, and life with her on weekends could be unpredictable. Your dad, a long-time business owner, was often working, so you stepped into the caretaker role. That role of looking after others has stayed with you through life, though more recently you’ve been learning to care for yourself, too.
At 19, you moved from your hometown to Park City, Utah, working at a ski resort and salon. Meeting people from all over the world sparked curiosity—how did they get here? Learning about working holiday visas, you decided to go to Australia. Even when your friend backed out, you went alone with your backpack and ticket in hand. Looking back, you see it was partly adventure (Sagittarius nature!) and partly escape. You spent a year there, sometimes in risky situations, but felt protected. In Sydney, you befriended someone older who initially felt like a big brother—he became your husband. He was from England, and after marrying in Utah, you lived there for seven years before returning to Utah seven years ago, drawn back by a feeling beyond logic.
On your faith journey—you grew up around the LDS church, though your parents didn’t attend regularly. A kind neighbor often took you and your siblings, and you loved going, mostly because of her kindness rather than the religion itself. You now don’t claim one religion, instead feeling connected to “Mother-Father God” or “pure source light.” Your stepmom’s influence led to more regular LDS attendance for a time, and you were baptized, but by 16 you realized it wasn’t for you. You’ve always connected with God through nature and are a seeker of knowledge and deeper spiritual connection. Being a stay-at-home mom for five years gave you space for reflection and deepened your spirituality.
You talk about moments of bliss—like noticing synchronicities, animals passing by, or the number 11:11, as well as big experiences like rafting that helped you reconnect with your emotions, sunsets in Australia, hiking in England, and a lightning storm in Tuscany. That Tuscany trip included a striking image of lightning between two trees, symbolizing masculine and feminine unity.
You met Keira Brinton after following her on Instagram, attending a local book launch despite obstacles, and feeling a surge of energy in the room. Later, Keira personally invited you to her Success Codes event in Arizona. You went without telling your husband at first to avoid resistance, and your stepmom even helped book your flight. At the event, you were deeply activated—especially during breathwork—and returned home to find unexpected opportunities, including a scholarship to relaunch your micro school. A conversation with Nikita shifted your perspective about your many skills and tendency to get bored, helping you realize you need to complete and show gratitude for what you already have before moving on.
When asked about attending future Success Live events, your advice: “Don’t be on the fence—jump off it. Get there as quickly as you can.” You explain that unlike other events where activation felt external, Keira created a space for you to activate yourself.
In closing, you define living beyond the shadow of doubt as making a choice—acknowledging that the situations we’re in stem from choices we’ve made, which helps us move beyond self-doubt. In the rapid-fire questions:
Favorite book: The Sophia Code as an activator, but also Harry Potter for the escape it provided growing up.
Introvert or extrovert? Both.
Favorite artist: Shaving Spirit, who makes divine-feminine-inspired sculptures from shells and driftwood.
Night owl or morning lark? Used to be a night owl until kids.
Celebrity crush: Tom Hardy.
Preferred drink: Filtered, fluoride-free water, carbonated or not.
Farthest place traveled: Australia or Turkey, depending on the starting point.
You share your Instagram handle, @crystallineinitiations, as the best way to connect. The episode closes with a quote from Eugene England about faith, curiosity, and dialogue, along with an invitation to visit your website for resources and a complimentary coaching session, and to follow, review, and share the podcast.
